What software do you use to design logos?
Answer: We use Adobe CS5: The Master Collection, but more specifically Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
Can you supply Vector format?
Answer: Yes. We supply your custom logo design in EPS (Encapsulated Post Script) as standard for no extra cost. This is a vector based file format used by print shops and it allows the design to be resized with no loss of quality.
What is a logo revision?
Answer: This is a very common question. The answer can be summarized as follows.
1. If you change your mind about any minor aspect of your logo…be it a color change, a font change, use of shadow etc..or any other minor change once you have actually had your logo delivered. This is called a logo revision. You can in fact make several minor changes and call that one revision, providing it is requested at the same time. To do this just send us an email and tell us what you want to change. If you have accepted the design and then require a change later on we do charge a small fee for that.
2. What is NOT a revision is if you want to have an entirely new logo designed. This can be charged at the normal fee of the original logo (depends on whether we missed the mark or you have changed your mind).
What is your delivery time?
Answer: Expect to receive your first draft with 3-5 working days and revisions not longer than 2 working days.
How do you deliver my new logo?
Answer: All new logo orders are emailed to you in a ZIP file.
What can I use my new logo for?
Answer: Your new logo can be used for anything you like whether it be website, off-line printing, embedding in documents, printing on T-shirts, signs, banners, stationery, and etc.
What about Copyright..Who owns it?
Answer: You and you only own the logo. You are however completely 100% responsible for any copyright issues that may arise as a result of using our logo design services. It is your responsibility to investigate any possibilities of copyright infringement. There are companies set up to help you do this. We link to one or two through our Directory. The Logo Company can not be held responsible for any issues that may arise after delivery is made.
Can my logo have a see through background?
Answer: Included in your final pack are 2 files with transparent backgrounds. However both of these files require specialist software to use them properly: EPS – Adobe Illustrator, PSD – Adobe Photoshop.
If you can not use either of these files we can supply a transparent gif for you which requires no specialist software to use. Make sure to tell us the exact size you would like the gif file to be as they do not re-size well.
Can the background of the logo be any other color than white?
Answer: Yes. In fact, if you tell us the HEX or Pantone number of the background color you want or at least give us a sample to match against, then we will provide the new logo with that exact color background. You can give us this information at the time of ordering.
We can also supply the logo with no background color at all. This is best for websites with colored backgrounds. This file format is called Transparent GIF or transparent PSD and you can ask for this at the time of ordering.
